I play on my PS3 and virtually any class (not heavy)  can avoid being shot by a sniper. For instance, on 2fort I can easily run across the bridge roof as a Scout without being hit, jump onto the enemy battlements and kill a sniper with my scattergun.

On Dustbowl three there is a small bridge by the corner where snipers stand to shoot guys on the 2nd CP. As a soldier, I can fire off rockets and kill snipers frequently. Sometimes I get shot, but not often.

Do these situations happen in the PC version? I would think the increased accuracy of the mouse would make snipers much more deadly...and you wouldn't be able to get away with some of the stuff that happens on console.

I own the PS3 version and even without owning the PC version I can definetely tell you Sniper's are 10x deadlier on the PC version, just go on youtube and see them play. Then again there are good Sniper's on the PS3 version too like Action_Radar and Neg3000 so it takes more time a skill to actually use the Sniper to effectiveness on the console version.

it's extremely different- much harder. Snipers regularly pick off scouts dodging on the bridge in 2fort. Snipers have quick, twitch reaction and accuracy, making the PC snipers a TON more difficult to handle.

Just out of interest, how does he switch to another weapon after firing the sniper so quickly?

Q is the default key for switching to the secondary weapon.  If you meant how does he switch without having to choose the weapon and click to enter, you can set that in advanced settings.

it's cause of the all mighty mouse, it's faster to click than to press a button(there like the same thing, but u get my point, they can move the cursor around faster and other reasons  that i don't want to get into
