Is there a such thing as too much Pyro?

I've recently passed 80 hours playing Pyro, 4 times as many hours as my second most played class.

For a while now I've found that if I need to get anything done in TF2 my best bet is to go Pyro. It doesn't matter what I'm doing.

Is something wrong with me?

Is there something wrong with you? Nope, you're just better as pyro. Which is ok because the pyro is a pretty useful class.

What other class can set up a no spy zone, deflect rockets/nades/stickies, and kill a soldier with his own crit rocket?

Nope, nothing wrong with that. I have by far the most hours with pyro, and I am generally the most successful with it.

However, it is nice to know more than one class. Learning how to play the soldier helped my pyro game, and sometimes it's just nice to take a break from burning stuff.

No, but it is always a good idea to learn other classes, especially if you ever play a pug or a highlander. Sometimes there's no pyro needed or the slot is filled, so you'll need to be good as another class if you want to play.

I can't do much with other classes either. Maybe I should try getting good with the medic.

once you learn how to play pyro all the other classes are easy as hell, pyro is hardest to get good with.

I felt the same way last night. Too many heavies on the other team. I try playing sniper; no good. I try playing demoman. No good. I go pyro, of all things...and dominate half the heavies on their team by AXING THEM TO DEATH!!!

Pyro is all about movement and positioning, you need good movement and positioning to be good at all the other classes too. Even a heavy can use pyro tactics. If you aren't in the right spot at the right time, then you aren't good as any class. Saying the other classes are easy if you learn pyro is wrong, because even though you have movement down you still need to learn to aim.
