It is time for another.

OK if you guys look around at the different forums (namely the soldier one) you'll see that people regularly upload clips of themselves playing games. I think it is time that we, as spies, start posting more vids because spies are awsome.

I can't personally record vids because my computer is absolute crap. However I do know that some of you can.

So! if you have recorded a spy vid, please post it because there is no such thing as too many spy vids. That is all. Thank you for your time. 

what you do is record a demo (go to console, type record [demoName]).  Then you load the demo and use fraps while playing the demo back; this way you dont get any fps drops while youre playing.  you also only record what you want to record (with fraps) so you dont have to go through it afterwards deleting gigs upon gigs of worthless video.

so if that wasnt clear:

1) join game
2) go to console, type "record [demoName]"
3) type "stop" in console when youre done for the day
4) if you did something awesome, load fraps, open up tf2 and type "playdemo [demoName]"
5) hit the record button for fraps (i think its f9 for default) when you have a clip you want, hit f9 again when you want to stop
then you have video! yay.

ok sounds good. I've never used fraps before, will I be able to control it while playing a demo? I don't know if its just me, but...

1) I can't alt + tab out of TF2 without my computer basically freezing up (black screen forever)

2) When I load a demo it takes forever

3) When I try to jump around in a demo using ticks, it takes forever to get there, to the point where it's not worth it to do it. so once I record with fraps, would I be able to close TF2 and edit the clip within the fraps program?

[Edit] Ok I checked out the link. Seems complicated but doable. However, after durban finishes the 1st post, on the second post he recommends that you have 100 gigs of free space available. Yikes! My whole hard drive only holds about 115 gigs and I only have about 12 gigs of free space left. What am I to do?
