Jump/Stair/whatever Stabs gone now?

Someone on the Steam forums (BEFORE YOU SAY THE OBVIOUS, I haven't tried it out, and he might be right considering they decreased the overall backstab area) said that you can no longer jump/stair/whatever stab after the update. Is this true?

I hope they removed the "stairstab".

If this is true, then the Spies skill level went way down

Being able to do a "stairstab" had nothing to do with how skilled a spy was/is.

In fact, if they fixed facestabs like they said they did it would make the Spy harder because you owuld actually have to use some skill to plant your knife in the right spot.

I think the idea was partly to stop people from having the LOOK AT ME *stairstab* tactic, because thats the worst tactic.

Harder dropstabs means you'll have to be more skilled though

People are telling me it's at the least harder to do now, if not impossible...I haven't tried myself

i dont care much about stairstabs, but if you cant stab people from top/sides etc. this has pretty much made spy completely worthless. topstabs were the only way to ever stab someone pretty much :\

What the stair stab is gone?

Oh well, at least it was good for a few laughs.

Can't you just fall a little farther and hit their back? Or does it not register at all unless you stab really low on the hitbox? (I haven't gotten a chance to see. But it just sounds to me like it takes a little more precision now is all.)
