Just got vent

so what is the point of this? i mean why is it better than the ingame voicechat?

also, who is willing to give me the password? or what requirements do i need to meet to get or whatever?

just heard a lot of people talking about it and figured id give it a go

Vent is better because you can talk to the other team, and is more reliable/has a better sound quality than in game.

You can also talk when you're dead.

Well, its mainly used in community like this, where everybody knows/gets on with each other and so can just have a chat whilst playing. It can also be used in scrims to talk to the other team about setup.

 

ah i see. i never knew i couldnt talk when im dead. that when i give the most useful info. but anyways, sounds cool. now i just need to get the password

Also, if you get to know more people around the communiy, besides the obvious bonus of meeting new friends/good people, it will increase your chances of applying as one of the { } someday. Nice bassdrum, im a drummer too
