Remember the game Kingpin ?
Probably one of my best game ever played.
I spent so mutch time on this game playing on Heat.net and on Gamespy for Kp when Heat.net died.
There was a multiplayer mod called Bangman in Kingping.
At the middle of the map, a spawn point  drop money that we had to take and bring back to a safe in are team base. We could also go to the oposite team safe's to steal there money.
This mod was really fun.
In da day's. Alot of custom maps at where ported from TF to Kp.
My first game played on TF2 brouth me back some good old memory's with the same map design of the old day's with new texture.
I really wish someone could bring this Bagman mod in TF2.
It could be a great Hit mod.

Sounds like it's basically CTF, but there's only one neutral flag in the middle of the map.  Interesting.  I wonder if it'd be possible with some clever coding in Source...

Not quite like CTF.
At the cash spawn point in the middle of the map, Dollar bills drop from the skye's.
Player's can pick up to a certan amount of cash to bring back at the Teams Safe.
Also, if you kill a player who had cash on him, you can pick it up.
The match end's when a team Hits 2000$
Since you can rob the other teams safe's.Twisted situation occure & make's a great deal of fun.
This mod was insane action.
Like i said before, people dit it with original maps of  TeamFortress.
I hope its possible to make this mod in TF2.
I never made a mod, but if i can give some help to someone who's willing to work on this.
ill be glade to help.
I found a web site who still host some files http://www.poisonville.net/
Here's a video that can give you a better look at what im talking about.
Aint the best video, but it gives you a good idear http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4310753891678215918&q=Kingpin+bagman&total=1&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
This link give's you a better look at Kingpin in action & weapon used. (not in bagman mode)http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=152171698626232304&q=AnotherClassic%3A+Kingpin&total=1&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
I still have the game, I could make a Iso file & send it to someone who will give a try to make a TF2 Bagman.

I could see this in TF2:

Picture a completely underground cavern/mine map. In the center of the mine is a large open area with a fissure in the middle. Every 10s or so this fissure burps up a gold bar (don't ask how fissues burp, or how they burp gold bars). I could also burp up nuggets at a more regular pace, each of which counts as 1/10 of a bar.

A player may carry up to 1 bar and 9 nuggets at a time and bring them back to their base, where they can unload the bar (you can't unload nuggets). Each team has a large smelter that turns said bars into crowns at the rate of 5 bars = 1 crown. The crowns get stacked up on a pedistal or something in the "treasure room". The first team to 5 crowns wins.

The opposing team can sneak into your base and steal a crown (which is the same as stealing the intelligence). Someone carrying a crown has it stuck to their head about the same way the intel is stuck to your back. It's also a giant "HEY! SHOOT ME!" sign.

If you are killed you drop any bars, nuggets, or crowns you are carrying. All of which may be picked up by opposing players (to the limit of 1 crown, 1 bar, and 9 nuggets)

The map? GOLD RUSH.

@MellowshipSlinky

That sound's good too, but im really looking for the Kingpin style Bagman.
I know alot of you guy's dont know this game, Kingpin is a 9 year old game.
But your missing a out great game.
Its Kinda trebute i wanna make to a good  old school shooting game that we never saw the light of a sequal.
Specialy since few of the revamp map in TF2 where in bangman mod in Kingpin ported from the original TF.
But im willing that a look at your stuff too..

If you want to play an exact replica of bagman, down to the weapons, dollars, and such. Then go play Kingpin. I was talking about a custom map that could be an interesting and fun translation of the gameplay you were describing to TF2.

I never talk about changing the weapons.
Team are well balance as it is........
I dont want to redesign the hole game.
Im pretty dam aware this is TF2.
But dont forget that Team Fortress started as a mod !
I also told you that your idea could be fun too and im willing to give it a try.
The thing is, i see bagman fit better in almost all the existing maps.
Cause they use to do it on the same model map.
We could take the breafcase from itelligence mod to hold on money that we pick up & will see glowing dollar bills flowing everywhere when we run with cash.
Just like intelligence. Ex: when we robe a safe.
Im not a pro on map design & modding. In the times i used Radiant to make maps.
I dont think tools work the same way anymore lol.
Small modification on exisitng map is my first goal.
A fun game play is my main objective.
With my poor experience, i really need to make it sharp & simple.
After i get a hang on the creation tools, i could go for a bigger project.
Have you done maps & mods before ?
If you know pretty well how to do this, why not start you goldrush mod ?

Funkystreet, the other day, I was thinking about Bagman, and how awesome it was. And then I had the idea "Whoa, it would be awesome to put bagman rules into TF2!". So I did a search for Bagman, and I found this post! lol.
Seriously, Bagman was one of the best gamemodes for any FPS i've ever played. It was non-stop action.
I think there might have to be a few minor adjustments to make it work in TF2, but I think the two would fit together very nicely.
I don't even think it would be that hard to program the mod in there, since you wouldn't have to change TOO much.
Are there any other people who are interesting in making something like this? We could get a team together to try to build it.
