L4D Price

Any idea how much it's going to cost? I've seen various prices floating around ranging from $35 to $55. I hope they'll just charge it like they charged TF2, regular 20 bucks.

TF2 was originally 39.99 when it came out on steam I think.
So it will probably be around that much and then a couple months after it will go down more than likely.

TF2 was only $20 after it had been out for 6 months. Regular only in that it was cheap because it was old.
There is no way in hell any company would sell L4D for $20.

The various price range you listed is the general consensus. I would guess on the price being between $40-50, but knowing valve it will likely be max $40.

id guess $30 for the pc. prob 50-60 for console especially if its being produced by EA like tf2. but i have no idea if it is..

well, it's going for a base price of $50 on amazon (45 with the special offer they're running)

I am such a VALVe fan that I will cough up anything they ask for.

Wait, maybe Left 4 Dead + this HUGE frickin' (speculated) TF2 update? Maybe L4D and an updated TF2 for consoles in the Apple Box? Maybe they just throw in a blueberry muffin while they're at it! Actually, no, I do NOT want a blueberry muffin while I'm playing Left4Dead. That would ruin the mood. Anyway, I'd pay $40 for all that stuff, especially if I were a console owner...

On a side note, they ARE making L4D for the Xbox and PS3, right? I'm so out of tune.

I'm confidant that whatever price valve chooses, they will make the value of the game worth it.
They've always been really good in that department.
