L4D demo (and game) impressions?

Just had my first run through of the 2 levels included in the demo, and it did not disappoint! tanks, witches, smokers and the like were all there, and one of my team actually disturbed the witch! I played through it as Zoe, and i thought combat was perfect, with a nice amount of gore, and i preferred the Uzi over the shotgun. Dual pistols were also really fun to play with. Even on normal, a lot of teamwork was involved, and the random people I played with were good comrades, healing each other and the like. Just wanted to know what people thought about this great game!

I only played through the first part of the single player that was included, i thought it was enjoyable but overall it's a kind of meh single player game to me, maybe i should have turned up the difficulty but i never really felt in danger. And although the computer AI isn't hopeless, i think the game will be much better if you play with friends. I disturbed a witch on purpose to see how bad it was, turned out to be pretty bad, witch jumped on me and i couldn't use my shotty anymore, and i pistoled away for about 5 seconds until death

Yeah, i did find it pretty easy (none of us actually died), but I'd expect that hard/very hard are a lot more challenging than normal.

Oh noes! It's unlocked and ready to go, but I'm at work. And it's Thursday, which means work folks go to B-Dub's for 60c wings for lunch so I won't have a chance to check it out for an hour then. Sadface.

I do hope to see some TF2F presence on there tonight though! We should so get a few clannies and start with the hardest difficulty . I, for one, welcome fighting off our zombie overlords.

Anyone else having difficulty downloading the demo? When I click the download link in steam it just reloads the product page.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm being stupid. You have to pre-order the game in order to download the demo. I'm out.

Turn it to advanced and expert. Things get hairy real fast. Played for about an hour, looks promising.

Is the demo Co-Op or single player only?

Both, but co-op servers right now are too laggy to play.
 

didn't valve setup servers for this?? and they are laggy.. wtf mate
