It seems like the LAN is at a stand still, and I know I posted this before, but it is still standing for sure.

Friend of mine runs a LAN in Southern California(Rancho Cucamonga) called
Net Fragz , it
holds 50ish computers(as well as multiple XBox 360's), its roughly
20-25 minutes away from the Airport, a cheap hotel you can stay at is
within walking distance, as well as multiple places to eat, multiple
which are 24 hours a day.
Places to Eat within walking distance -
Logans Roadhouse(good place to get hammered)
Denny's(sit down)
Jack in the Box(24/7 fast food)
Pizza Hut 4 steps away from front door of the LAN center
Place to Stay -
Comfort InnOther hotels near the mall
Computers/Connection -
NVidia
8800GT video cards, Intel 6750 dual core CPU's, and 2GB RAM, 22" 2ms
widescreen monitors. (i'd bring own mouse/mousepad if you have gaming
ones, if not dont worry, they will be provided also)
50mbps fiber line
There are 50 computers here that they provide so you don't have to bring your computer! It'll save space/money/danger to your computer, so i'd suggest it. Price :
$20/day - a tiny bit rough, but still worth it.
Airport : Closest is Ontario Airport(15 minutes away), LAX is feasibly close, but the taxi trip might cost you a shit ton. (about an hour and a half away)
When :It looks like the weekend of May 22nd-24th(Memorial Day weekend) would be best..especially since you'll have monday off to travel/have the extra day.

in all, this seems like a very very easy place to set this up, and to
be honest I would just have to let him know it might be an idea that
we're doing it and im sure he's down..
