Late Night PUG Update

The TF2F Community proudly hosts Late Night Pick-Up Games every night @ 11:30pm est. We pick 4 teams and play 2 maps, followed by a Highlander or Faillander. It is recommended you show up at least 10 mins early to grab a spot. We do 'school-yard' style picks, so showing up does not always secure a spot. If we have an uneven number of players, there is a chance you might not get to play. To prevent this, its best to just keep showing up, or play in our public servers so people can get to know you and your skill level. You also must have a good connection, good FPS, and a mic/vent is required. 
  • We try to keep up with the current CEVO rules, as we did with TFTrue, so for the time being THE SANDMAN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN OUR PUGS  
 
  NEW class limits are as follows:
  • 6v6 & 7v7 - 1 Medic, 1 Demoman, 2 of everything else
  • 8v8 - 1 Uber Medic, 1 Kritzkrieg Medic, 1 Demoman, 1 Engineer, 2 of other classes
  • Highlander 9v9 - 1 of each class, sometimes we will do 10v10 Highlander where we will have 1 of each class, with 1 Uber Medic and 1 Kritzkrieg Medic 
  • Faillander - Same rules as Highlander, except the other team picks what class you play (usually one of your worst classes) these games are all having fun and less about winning
NEW Custom Maps:
 It its HIGHLY recommended that you download and learn these maps! Everyone has been playing these maps for a bit so you want to be on the same level as everyone else. Its good to look for location of the CP's and where the health packs are. All the payload maps are usually only for Highlanders.
 The winning teams always go to Amber, the losing teams always go to Kelly. ALWAYS!!!

Cool Beans.

Might be worth adding what is expected of captains:

- Know your maps
- Know your strategies,
- Know your players (this one is I put a lot if emphasis on because it goes bad when you don't)
- Have a rough plan or idea.

Also, what Mr.White said. Nothings worse than having a captain who just picked you because of your name and with no plan whatsoever (except if it's a faillander, that's when I captain )

It's don't post the password to the public in case any funny guys wanna come in and mess with a game in progress .

Is our vent re-passworded?
It appears it isn't.

During our pugs we password the PUG channel, and each team channel.

Yes, but what is stopping the funny guys from you know, joining in on our PUG?
Also, I seem to remember a little while back someone just stumbled into our PUG because they guessed the password.

Nice. You should take cp_erosion (terrible) off the download list. And add new cool maps like cp_silvertrail and cp_furnace
