Look, I'm not going to argue that Paul's songwriting isn't simplistic usually compared to Lennon's, because it is. Then again, if any Beatle has the voice and rhythm of a rocker, it's Paul. I'm not going to try to change your mind, but those I listed are IMO some of the best songs ever written.

On top of that, you used Ob La Di vs a masterpiece like strawberry fields as an example. That's like me comparing Do You Want to Know a Secret (Lennon, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktzdpK8Ryk0) to Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End (The Beatles final masterpiece, written by McCartney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLTFJiN8o-A).
