Left 4 Dead - Raccoon City Mod (Beta)

The game looks pretty promising, though it's probably a bit on the buggy side. Still any change from the stock maps is a breath of fresh air. It's really too bad Valve is already pushing L4D2 right now when the mod community is barely starting to get a foothold on this game. Of course, I could be wrong and that's a topic for another thread.

Resident Evil 3: "Last Escape" Beta 1.0

Just finished playing the Beta and my verdict is "pretty good" The alley ways could use better markings to tell the player where to go because I actually got a little lost and ended up going in circles for a little bit. Also, my stupid AI team kept on running off without my and leaving me all alone (though that can't really be the fault of the map).  The textures and environment felt pretty convincing and very Resident Evil. A very good first attempt and I'm looking forward to playing the full campaign (I just hope Capcom doesn't pull the plug). Oh and it's in first person view.

Whats the difference between this and L4D other than being third person, slower paced, and RE themed?
