EDIT: I just realized I said clan, theoretically it could be a clan or a community.

Hi,
After registering for eGO in my early days of TF2, I eventually left the group because of their extremely strict regulations.
I'm looking for a large/medium-sized clan (not, for example, 20-ish people) with multiple servers and occasional scrims. I've been looking around, but haven't found a good one yet.

I'm nearing 14 (birthday's on October 30th), but although I may be younger than most I consider myself very mature, and a rather good player at that-- not the best, but definitely well-played. I main as Soldier and Spy, though I can play all the other classes decently.
I live in Dallas, Texas, and to be frank my connection isn't the best out there (150kbs currently, I may upgrade to 3+ mbps soon), generally my ping is 60-70. I do have a mic, but take note that in all my days of TF2 I only remember getting a single complaint about my voice being annoying, and I believe that was quite a while ago (it isn't of course, I use my mic all the time). My computer, by the way, gives me 60-120 FPS in most official maps, so my play will not be interrupted by low framerate.

Hopefully I can find a nice clan/community to settle into.

Well, we do have a community clan here at TF2F at this point. But it is a COMMUNITY clan, which means you'll need to been seen in order to join. So in the mean time, settle in and have some fun. We run PUG's pretty much every night and weekend and have random events as well.

On the squigs (community clan) side, we play in TWL 5v5 and 9v9s and looking to expand into other things as soon as I have time to look at other leagues/formats.

Is there a tag I need to wear, and do I need to sign up for the PUG divison somewhere?

Just play in the public servers, participate in pick up games, and chill out in vent.

You do not need to sign up for the PUGs, just be in the PUG vent channel before it starts, and you should get picked onto to a team when it does start. There are pugs that start at around 11:30 most nights, but there are daytime ones as well. i am not totally sure what the times are nowadays though, as i dont play during the day much.
