I'm pretty new to TF but I learn quick. I'm coming from CS so I'm not new to shooters on the PC.

I find that I can get better on a team/clan than pub since I only use medic.

I just want to get better so any type of help would be welcome as well.

play in gathers, they're always desperate for medics. If you don't mind paying, play in esea pugs, they're even more desperate for medics but cost $6/month and aren't very common.
Play in our late night pugs, if you're a bad medic we're more likely than the above to yell about it, but at least you'll know

gathers on irc at: #tf2.gather.us
esea pugs at http://www.esportsea.com
our late nights on our vent every night at 11:30pm est

Far as finding a team, post on gotfrag, but the above (well except for our pugs) are a good way to get known and play in somewhat organized 6v6 play, our pugs are good for 6v6 practice though and do tend to be more organized than gathers.

Gathers are terrible if you want to practice medic.

Do late night pugs, ask around for a team of some sort, even if they suck, as long as they take things seriously enough where you can get better.

yeah, i wouldn't wanna medic in a gather, that's why there are no medics really.
On the plus side, even if you're terrible people in gathers just kinda let it slide. late night guys are way more likely to rage, but at least we'll tell you what you're doing wrong

True. Still, highly recommend late nights / weekend PUGs. It's how I started out.

Ok thanks for the quick replies. I'll check out the gathers/pugs and I used to have ESEA but I don't anymore. But yea raging at me it just kinda slides off cause it's not that deep, especially in a pug lol. But getting better is what I wanna do

Thanks I'll check out the IRC 2nite most likely.

My tag will most likely be NinjaCW tho not Healbot101 lololol
