Loss of items, can I get them back?

 So I was part of the September 2nd Backpack Raid and lost a couple items (Huntsman,Jarate,CaD,Dead Ringer). These items were earned fairly and without the use of an idling system. I however gained a hat and several other items with the idle program. Now this is left.

Will I ever be able to earn these items back besides a random drop? Should I just quit whining and wait half a year to get all the items back?


Edit: What will happen to the backpack viewer, is that viewed as cheating as well?

You can use an idle server or accept the fact that nothing of value was lost.

Drunken Fool: The good news is they've agreed to help me work on tf2items.com and give me a "public blessing" of some sort. More details later.

You get items back by playing/idling and waiting for whatever item you want back.
