Lowest FPS to attempt Scout in Comp play?

Well, what would you say it is, and how much does ping affect your scout? I commonly get about 25-40 FPS while moving and flicking quickly, so I'm starting to think this isn't enough due to me commonly not being able to see the actual scout that I kill because I'm flicking it so quickly. Am I just doing Scout wrong, or is my FPS too bad?

i play comp with slightly higher than that and it's ok. obviously constant 60 would let you play miles better, but it is definitely possible.

I play with 20-40 fps as well, its frustrating as fuck and is usually a source of rage. With higher FPS, everything is much slower and smoother and aiming is a breeze, youre going to have to twitch every shot since tracking is not possible :|

just play with net_graph 0 and cl_showfps 0 and try to ignore your framerate ;|

Try an fps script, it really does wonders.

I had OK fps before the script, but ever since I started to use it, I can't go back to better graphics with slightly less fps.

Haha, I always have netgraph on, and every time I die as scout I check it just to see how sucky it is. It seems to fluctuate a lot, but recently I've just gotten around 130 FPS while looking at a wall! It makes me feel so good to see 3 numbers down there, but it makes it worse when it moves down to the 20s while in battle.

I run all my games at 50-60. TF2, everything maxed including ant-aliasing etc solid 60FPS all the time. CoD5, 60, CoD4 60, Crysis, 45 ish, UT3 60, WoW oddly enough , 35...... ???
