Most maps get significantly more fun with an 8v8 or 9v9, and if we made both the #1 and #2 servers have the same settings, then perhaps we could have 2 full or at least active 16-18 player servers that play better than a single 24 player server?

EDIT: Both would be NO-CRIT. Same settings, though different map rotations is an option. The idea is to make two servers where teams are much more personal, gameplay is more "Highlander" style, and turtling is less effective. It also makes use of server 1, and spreads out the popularity of server 2.

Then by all means. I would support 9v9 as it would allow impromptu highlanders if anyone wants. This will make Castle 4 an extremely viable map, and will open up Labor to be placed on the server as well.

I would much prefer an alternative map rotation with maps better suited for smaller gameplay, and 9v9 for highlander was awesome before, but 8v8 would be fun

Sounds good! Maybe 2 16 player servers?

The only reason I'm gonna say yes is because server 1 is always empty.  I like crits, and I like no crits, but I'd rather have two no crit servers with people playing than one full no crit and one empty crit server.

No crit on all servers is something I'd love- once a game mechanic I loved, now a game mechanic I loathe (unless it's a KK crit of course)
16-18 man servers seems like a nice idea also- a marked decrease in spam and a greater emphasis on teamwork.
Only thing I will object to is map rotation. I seem to like a lot of maps many people here around here hate (yes, I'm looking at Dustbowl in particular), and I hope that they stick around- 5CP maps and Gravel, whilst good maps that I like playing on, do get slightly tiresome being played over and over. Plus with 3-4 less players either side they become less spamtastic.
