One of my biggest problems (Aside from the other three thousand ones I have hurr durr) as a Medic is that I'm far too quiet. Often times because of it, I get killed or lose my buddy.
I'm not one of those people who suffers from the "chewing gum while you walk" syndrome (Where people can't talk and play at the same time), but I do panic a lot. If a Scout is attacking me, I'd much rather scream on my mic like a wild man instead of telling my Soldier someone is attacking us from behind.
But aside from that, I've been trying to compose a list of what major things to say as a Medic: (This is excluding things like "Their Medic is dead!" or "They only have 2 people up, guys." which is a common vocal trait shared by every teammate)
• When you're low on health+need a health pack.
• Ubercharge percents.
• Location, so people will have an easier time finding you for heals.
• When you're dead+respawn time.
Anything else?
Also, should I ever bother telling my teammates which spots are best for a Medic to be in? When attacking the middle on maps like Fastlane, the right-hand building is usually a better spot for a Medic to stand in (Granted, harder to get out of) than the left-hand side building (Which is cramped, tiny, impossible to retreat in if being flanked from behind), or should I just follow wherever my pocket goes?
