Now that I can prove some of my skillz, some screenshots from my 2Fort and Dustbowl medic-ing.

May not lead in points, but 4 dominations count for something.

Not bad.  Personally, I add my Kills + Assists and compare them to my deaths.  Then I use the following:

< 1:1 - Pick a different class
1:1 - Average
2:1 - Good
3:1 - Exceptional
4:1 or better - Outstanding

From Screen 1 you have 69:47 = 1.4:1
From Screen 2 you have 37:10 = 3.7:1

You did MUCH better in that second game, not to mention you got 7 Ubers off compared to 0 before.

I don't use stats as a measure of skill because this is TF2.

4 Doms count for shit when you're medicing. If you're not leading, then you're not doing your job right. 12 kills to 10 deaths may mean something to the average pubbie, but trust me when I say as Medic, you should be healing 90% of the time.

Also, don't play 2Fort.

If you want to be anal about it, all your statistics mean shit.  He's just trying to see how well he did comparatively.

In CTF, all stats = worthless.  Caps are all that matter.
In Payload, all stats = worthless.  Pushing the cart in for a kill is all that matters.
In Control Point, all stats = worthless.  Capturing points until victory is all that matters.

The only difference is Arena, where staying alive is the objective (or capturing the point), and again, your stats are worthless.

That's the cold hard, tactical reality of the matter.  In CTF, I'd rather have an Engy who died 200 times, got 0 kills, and was micspamming the whole time, as long as he didn't let a single intel out of the base.

meh. could be a lot better, SS of scrims/matches... pubs don't mean anything towards skill, on the ATF server i keep a 7-1 KD as solly, in scrims im at a 2-1 1-1 kd

Medic your first game seems like you didn't play much of, second game still meh, i have almost twice as much of your healing in the whole game as i did in one life as pub medic to reach my 14.5k healing in one life.. need scrim SS or matches, till then.. nothing special.

thats all your gonna get outta me, work on it dude.

Looks like he ran Battle Medic or he switched classes for that first screenshot, it would explain the lack of invulns and only 4480 healing with a 45/47/24 (kill-death-assist).

<Professor Farnsworth> WERNSTRUM!!! </Professor Farnsworth>

For me, when I play on a pro server, or in a non-pub server, I use my same grid, but divide it by 2., so 2-1 would be exceptional.  It's easy to see a 50-75% reduction in score when you go from the "skill" on pubs to a server where the players are truly skilled and competitive.

Also, now that it sunk it - 45 kills?!  Wow, you really were a battle Medic there.  In a pub, I'd condone battle Medic if you felt you had to; but on a pro server, lean towards a 90% default habit of healing vs. attacking.  Your team will do a better job of protecting you and they can really put an ubercharge to good use in order to break chokepoints or stalemates.  The Medic's really not designed to be that successful with kills (note the 1:1 K/D - you'll excel better when you teamup with an ally)
