Meet The Technician (Better name in the works)

Name: Technician\Techie

Gender: Male

Bio: The Technician group up in a small town and went to college in London to become a computer technician. He always had a fascination for technology, but when he picked up his crowbar for the first time, he took it to a whole new level.

Nationality: North American

Accent: Teenage voice, various nervous cracks.

Main Weapon: Laptop: Is used to detect hidden spies (disguised or invisible), find location of enemy intel, or show status of capture points. (Any better ideas for the Laptop would be great...)

Secondary Weapon: Double Pistols: Exactly the same range and damage of the pistol, except he has two and they fire sporadically.
OR  Mini Uzi: Fires fairly rapidly, can't think of a reasonable damage rate...

Melee Weapon: Crowbar: Can't think of a reasonable damage rate for this one either. lol.

Appearance:

Clothes: Dark, slim jeans. Plain t-shirt and long scarf, colour depending on team. White sneakers, stripes are the colour of team. Gloves with no fingers, black.

Body: Very slim, about a head shorter than the Heavy (a pretty big head xD)

Speed: Same as the Spy.

Personality: Nervous and frightened, but can be brave and lethal when angered.

Sayings: "Ooohhhh shit..."  "DONT under-estimate me." "Like the taste of rusted steel in your mouth?" "Ha, I got you now!... Oh, nevermind."

Other Classes: Heavy: "Who need computer when you have gun? Ha, ha!"  Scout: "Heh, just some nerd."  Spy: "Finally! A man with a slight sense of sofistication..."  I can't think of any for the other classes.

So yeah that's all I can think of, tell me what you think.

primary weapon is awful seeing as the hud tells you 2 of the 3 things, and clocked spy's are no biggy really a pyro is more effective.

Primary needs to be way better. It does about as much as the goggles.

Yeah, better primary needed, both UP and OP, depending if your an enemy spy. It needs to be something much less situational too, i.e. doesn't just affect one enemy.

Back to the topic to avoid further embarrassment on my part, how is his main weapon showing the status of capture points useful? Doesn't the HUD already show that at the bottom of the screen? Also, the HUD also shows the direction of the intels (although not the exact location). An idea to beef up his primary weapon would be to allow it to disable sentrys/other engi buildings at a range, or possibly hack into them and turn them against their team. Even with that buff, the Technician's usefulness to his teammates is still heavily dependent on how many engineers and spies are on the opposing team.

EDIT: This class suggestion hits awfully close to home.

How's his laptop any different from a pyro who's actually watching his HUD?

I think you should elaborate on his primary weapon, it seems totally useless.

Who wants to play a character who acts like a little bitch? Seriously.

BTW, in the 1960s, this is what a computer looked like. Yeah. That's why RED and BLU all have giant bases, because they need somewhere to hold all of that computing power, so that they can do floating point arithmetic.
