What do you all use for mouse sensitivity as the scout? I'm in dire need of feedback seeing as I find myself missing way too many shots with the scattergun ...

The best way i find to measure how quick your sensitivity is to get a ruler and measure how much it takes to turn 180 degrees.
For me it's about 1 inch

I always use the highest setting possible for all games. Though I have a standard mouse as the dpi is different for each mouse.

Tbh you can't really have an 'exact' sensitivity because like what people have said earlier, is that all mouses can be drastically different. But I tend to like sensitivities that are much slower, usually from 1-3.0.

i have the windows sens on 6 the tf2 sens on 2.4 and my 1800dpi mouse on 1.5sen, takes almost the full 17" mousemat to do a 360 ( a good 14" adleast) works great if you want precision accuracy but its not as much a part in tf2 as it is in TF2 so i whould surgest a fairly average sens say around 8" for a 360turn bigger if you have a 15-17" mousemat (a fairly used way to get the sens is to go from one side of the mousemat to the other and if its a 360 its right) hope i helped : ]

P.S. i dont surgest using a sensitivity as high as say 2" for a 360 unless you have a very very stedy hand

Usually, because i play sniper alot, i keep my sensitivty quite low, around 3. However, if i actaully think about it, i will usually turn it to about 5 when playing scout.

if you provide windows sensitivity and mouse dpi you can then generally compare source engine sensitivity settings

I just have mine on max since the scatter gun "scatters" the bullets and makes it hard to miss
