Munchkin the card game

Do any of you play? Do you enjoy it?
Any fun stories? Which expansion have you tried?

I have heard people talk about this game for a long while now and have just recently had the chance to play the original basic set with my friends and have wanted to play more ever since. I'm actually interested in perhaps picking up either the Cthulhu or Pirate [Booty] sets, if my friend doens't beat me to it.

I loved that game when bored and just wanted to screw around. Nothing better then the "Cheat" card.

Honestly, Munchkin is fun with a group, but if you want a card game that's not so much luck, but still has alot of humor, go pick yourself up Deluxe Illuminati.  Far more fun, but also lengthy if you haven't played multiple times before.

Honestly, I'd never even heard of this game 'til I saw them mention it on TRS a week or two ago.. It sounds pretty awesome, though..

A local furry here has the pirate and the cthulu edition. That game is hella awesome, but often played dirty! It says in the rules, that it's okay to cheat until someone notices... for example: after a player's round any player may ask him if he's got more than six cards on his hand. If he does, that player must give one card to the one asking. Same with equipping munchkins... That guy once had his fella equipped with two guns, two swords, two sets of armor and such... and told us at the ending of the round >:[

Oh the cheat card really is awesome.
As well as a card that would be translated from german as "Not so fast, buddy"

You shoulda know better then picking up a duck in a dungeon, or something like that

Never played this before, I have been playing The Great Con Game. A mix between monopoly and risk, and it looks like the artist from Hagar the Horrible made the game.

These are some of the cards. I know its a super huge link. The game was late 80s so its pretty expensive to buy now, I was lucky a friend happened to have it.
