My machete is my best friend

I was playing on the bar room heroes server the other night, when one scout came over the bridge, and into our sniper nest. 3/4 times he got me to either retreat back into my spawn, or killed me, but one of the times, i knew he was coming, waited for him to get into a closed area, and proceded to slash him with my machete, until he was dead. To which i promply stated "Yeah" in proud accomplishment.

So i go back to my duties as a sniper, and am taking aim at an enemy sniper accross the way, when lo and behold, the scout has changed classes to sniper, and while he had me distracted by his teamate snipers (there were 2 of them, and i didnt expect a third to pop out) he got me with a charged body shot.

He retorted, "Yeah, anyone can play sniper, its the noob class"

now this struck a chord with me, and i decided to lash out against this obvious ignorant jerk.

I went off my battlement, into the sewer, up into the enemy courtyard, snuck past the spawn, and PLANTED my machety firmly into this punkass's chestal region. then i macheted the other 2 snipers, an engineer, and a demoman, just to prove my point.

to which he replied... "oh...nice, nice"

That's a lovely story.

But really, the sniper is all about aiming, isn't it? aiming, positioning, and spy-checking.

Melee weapons are fun to use.

Splendid showing, good fellow. Incredible happening, that.

I think a 'pwned' might be in order.

As a scout, I commend you.

TBH i usually dont use machete.
If i get a scout rushing me they're usually doing it wiht a bat, and not jumping. That means i can usually just scope in and headshot them or at least hit them with one shot and fnish it with the SMG. I only use machete if im in a particularly devilish mood

You do realize you are talking to the Kukri Assasin, dont you?
 I've had over 500 machete kills in the past 4 weeks (on the tf2f servers).

I'm not advocating using the machete only as your main form of combat with closer ranged targets, but it is a good weapon to use when you are just around the corner from an unsuspecting scout.  Not to mention its just a fun weapon to use. 

And i am always in a particularly devilish mood

Indeed... I still prefer axing people, I can actually be functionnal in combat with an axe and 175 hp.

come on Durban you should of just owned all 3 snipers from your battlements

but other then that nice machete work I suppose I'm just too lazy to walk all the way over there
