Just read it on 4players.de

The Medic will get, along with his archievements, weapon unlocks for his medigun. Including the overheal gun, that boosts HP higher than the standard medigun, but does charge up uber rather slow. So the weapons will be double-edged blades.

Along with this will be a new gaming mode (Gold Rush)

Crazy! sounds like fun. I wonder if they're going to reset the stats so you have to get all achievements again or just have it based on the new achievements.

Didn't someone on these forums talk about the idea of a goldrush map!!!
I believe it went something like a giant pot in the middle, people stole from it and tried to capture it. You could also steal others gold if you killed them. Sometimes the gold would be worth more points too...

Now they're giving awards for getting the achievements.. I can see the medic rushes now.

Really, I can't wait. This adds a whole new element to the game (or at least will, in time) and should be lots of fun. I wonder what the other medigun will be, maybe one that drains enemy HP?

That would be awesome Octon. I know this update could seriously get me playing the Medic again on a regular basis. I love the class, it just got stale to me.
And that being said, if the gun were to drain health, it damn well better give it to the Medic.
