Need help with turbine_v3

Playing in that map...either in tf2fort servers or not..I die the most...I tried Scout first of course but theres just too many places for sentries guns to camp and not to mention those annoying pyros...I just don't know how they can sneak behind me all the time. Tried Heavy as well but when the snipers are on the lose on top platform on the other side I have no chance. Tried soldiers as well (I probably did relativly better with it than the other two I mentioned) but due to my inability to rocket jump well, I always get killed by ubered heavies...not to mention the enemy soldiers who does know how to rocket jump well always take me by suprise. Before I can run away from that rocket(s) raining from the sky I get blew apart.

So long story short, any strategies for turbine_v3? If anyone can do one for scout would be most appriciated. Thanks

As a scout you should probably stick to double jumping on the boxes in the middle room, over to the far side and playing sniper-control.

Otherwise you can use the boxes to get behind the enemy forces and take them by surprise with some scattershot in their backs.

Once your team has communicated that the intel is up for grabs (sentries are down, etc) use the boxes (once again) to get to the far side and get at the intel either through the vents (risky for the 125hp scout though) or go into the wide hallway (but this is more traveled and more expected).

Basically your strategy as a scout should be to stay off the ground in the middle room (pretend its hot lava!) and use them to surprise and avoid your opponents.

hmm I can give it a try..(Note that I'm officially gotten "Sentry-phobia") So maybe that would give me less chance of dying...

I forgot to mention one thing though...I really hated it when most of my teamates (including myself) got killed and the other team just camps right outside of our battlements, forcing my entire team not dare to come out

Well, a scout shouldn't be leading the offensive push. Wait for your teammates to go out there and follow them into battle.

I played scout on turbine a couple of times and here's what i do

-Don't run straight out of the gate, go close enough to it so that it opens and back off, just to check for stickies.
-Stay on top of crates in the middle (harder to get hit, especially by soldiers and pyros)
-Rarely use the vents (125 hp, you bump into someone, you are dead)
-Stand in the corner beside the enemy gate, when somebody comes out, kill him.
-Kill Snipers on their top area, do it while the sniper is staring at your teammates and just go up the stairs.
-Abuse the health packs. (you can double jump then crouch to get the one near the intel room on the platform)

As for the intel, you can't get it on your own because of sentries. What you should be doing is standing behind your team while they're pushing into the room and warning them and killing whoever is trying to flank them. Once your team has taken down the sentries, take it and run like hell. And in my opinion taking the intel up the stairs next to their respawn area is the stupidest thing you can do.

This doesn't apply to all enemy right? Because say if a pyro comes out I don't think I'll have the reflexes to kill him without me on fire...

It works  on pyros too, you really catch them by surprise, you should be able to get two shots in his back before he turns around. Then kill him and there's a medpack nearby to take out that fire
