To put it simply: Theme's won't work.

To not put it simply: Theme's aren't working for me anymore. I've been using the "heaven cube" theme for the last month, but today I booted up Firefox to see it in default. So I go to the tools: themes menu and select the "use this theme" button under heaven cube. when I restarted Firefox, it didn't work.

I've tried the same thing with other themes, to no avail. so now my Firefox is looking ugly and plain. I've also tried restarting my computer, but that didn't work either. I'm using vista if it helps.

could be that ur themes are not compatible with an update recently made. although u would have seen that update installing and most themes are supported upon release so its conspicuous that ALL of your themes dont work....

Its this.

Every time there's an update it breaks my themes for 3-5 days. As a tip I'd recommend downloading 3-4 similar themes so when one's updated you have a theme back. I myself like darker themes so I have a ton of those for when one shits out on me.

check the version number. if it matches but its nto working, contact the designer. if he doesnt respond, go to mozilla tech support. They're really quick.

It should tell you that the theme is not compatible, also if the theme is showing as not compatible then make it compatible.

Easiest way to do this is to install MR Tech Toolkit found here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/421
With that install you can simply right-click an extension or theme and select Make Compatible from the menu and it will work.

In many cases a theme or extension will say they aren't compatible simply because the author set the max version number to a current build, and when there's a minor update, changing the version, Firefox will read the extension's max build number and see an older version and disable it claiming incompatibility.
