New Jerseyans

Just wanted to start off by saying if this is "deep politics" lock the thread, but I really don't think it is by any means, and this is a really important issue for NJians, and possibly other states if we can get an independent elected (this time, or next time)

Who are you voting for for Goverener?  I think this is one of the most important elections and I was just wondering where people were standing.

The Independent Chris Duggett is doing pretty well, while both Chris Christie and Jon Corzine are doing worse than ever.  Even if we can't elect the independent, I think it'll be a wake up call to corrupt politicians we have here that we're fed up and if they don't represent us and our interests, we will eventually turn elsewhere.

I'm only 17, so I can't vote, but I'm putting out support for Chris Daggett and Ken Kaplan (Libertarian).

The only problem is that, if we elect Corzine again, we should be ready for so much more corruption, and I'm not sure Christie is any better, which is why I think more people should vote independent, people who aren't restricted by party politics.  Hell, even Ken Kaplan is pretty different than the Libertarian Party's Platform, which is good, because most NJ voters are completely distrusting of Libertarians (I would know, being one, most people here think I'm crazy or an anarchist because I think we should legalize drugs/prostitution and keep government out of personal business and only in matters where our rights are broken, unless they are willing to sit there and listen to the reason behind my views.)

In in NY, so I really don't have much of an opinion. But can someone tell Chris Cristie that he doesn't need to run ads in NYC? Like, I really don't care about how Corzine is corrupt, I DON'T LIVE IN YOUR STATE.
