New Soldier needs help.

I have just found a love for my least played class, the soldier.  However, as my least played class, I don't really know any of the basics, other than shoot towards their feet to hit them with splash damage.  I can barely rocketjump, and most of my 4 and a half hours as soldier comes from playing the basketball map.  So I could really use some help.

When RJing, jump and fire AT THE SAME TIME. That way, it reaches the ground at your peak.

I thought the basic rocket jump technique was, jump, rocket, crouch.  But I'll try your idea, and if I can't get it to work, I'll take the wimps way out and find a rj script.

I'd also suggest downloading an Airshot map, to further help.

guess how much you damaged them and switch to shotty if you think they are damaged enough, its alot easier to hit someone with the shotgun then it is to hit them with a rocket.
