New TF2F Late Night PUG Info

Well we had so much fun last weekend with our 1st TF2F Late Night PUG that we're going to run them every Friday and Saturday night. There was such an unexpectedly big turnout so thanks to everyone that came out. That being said, the large amount of people playing caused some rules to be put into place:

  • Were going to put a limit on the number of players that will play. Once we get 36 people into the Late Night PUG channel we'll stop letting people in and start picking teams.       
               -That means at the most we will have 6 teams of 6.
                   
               -In the event we don't have 36 we will close the channel @ 11:50 EST and start picking teams.
                    
               -If there is an odd number of players the last player(s) to arrive won't play to even the teams.        
                    
So if you're looking to play, your best bet is to show up in Vent around 11:30 EST. If for some reason you can't be there early but know for sure you will be there for the games, msg me on Steam and we'll figure it out. 

  • We'll be playing 2 maps each night and both nights will be no-crit. I'll be choosing maps but I'm very open to suggestions. So if you've seen an awesome custom map be sure to post it here.  
                  -The maps will be announced in the Events forum similar to the SPUGS. 

 Thats basically it, in the future we might do one regular night, and one "silly" night but for now this is the format. I appreciate all feedback, and thanks to everyone that makes these possible.

I love how this was just a small idea and now it is getting bigger than the actual SPUGS! I wish i could be in these but the ones that have happened since the first unofficial one i was in, have been during football games (marching band sux!)

I like the idea of doing 6v6 as opposed to like the 8v8s or 9v9s that have occured in the past. Nice work Kankle, keep it up.
I recommend the maps for this week be ctf mach4 and fastlane~

Also, since there's 6 teams, wouldn't that mean you play 3 games? Sorry, for being a nub to this, heh~

I like 6 v 6 and all, but sometimes (maybe for the fun crazy game) we could do bigger teams cause I LIKE playing w/ more people.  Like just talking and fooling around and chatting about random stuff.

I guess tahts what Pugs during the week are for anyways...
