Noob Questions - Floating Classes, Friends, and Clan Battles

1) How come sometimes I see players floating or behind areas that are "out of bounds"? This seems like a PC hack.

2) I've received requests to be friends but I don't see a way for me to request friends?

3) I received a message from someone asking me to leave because they were trying to have a clan battle.  Unfortunately, I didn't see the message until the next day.  I feel bad about this and don't want it to happen again.  How can I tell if I'm not wanted?

1. Glitches, exploits, modeling errors, they just did it through sticky/rocketjumping.

3. If everyone is in the same clan, or each team has the same clan members.

There's a function under the network thing to request friends - I think -- you need to know the spelling of their user name. 

An easier way to do it is to look through the list of "recently met" and click on the triangle which will give you an option to send a friend request or a message or look at their profile (I think).

If someone sends you a message you normally see a pop-up on the upper right of your screen.  If you tap the PS button you can read mail without having to leave the game.  Re-tap the PS button to get back in.
