PC Building Class?

So I'm currently shopping for PC parts for my mother's new computer.  She's kind of feeding me the money little by little as she's not too concerned about it.  Hopefully I'll be able to get everything sometime this month.

If and when I do, I was thinking about hosting a live "computer building" class via webcam.  I know there are a lot of people who are on the fence and really just need to be shown how easy it is to build.  Would there be a lot of interest?  Would you guys who don't know anything but are curious want to watch and participate in my build?

If so, I'd set up a Ustream where people can watch and chat live as I build; asking questions and getting answers along the way.  We would also be connected to vent so that we can talk through the process.

Let me know if you'd want to participate, and if there seems to be enough interest, I'll get something set up.

It wouldn't help me at all, but some people might like it.  If anything, you could just narrate your actions in a video and host it on youtube or w/e.

Eh... there are like a billion trillion of those.  This would be better because specific questions could be answered in context and immediately.

Also, this is obviously for those who are afraid of building or have no idea how to do it.

Yeah I was worried about that, weekends are going to be hit or miss for me since I work all weekend. I probably wouldn't be able to make it, but if it would be possible to record it just the q&a would make it worth it to watch I think over the other videos out there you mentioned.

Yes, I will also be recording the stream so that anyone who couldn't catch it in the first place can still watch the build and the Q&A.

Very good idea, i'd love to see it but i'm busy all weekend. If you do it i'll definately watch the vid if you put it online.

It won't be this weekend.  It may not even be this month.

I love this idea. I'm no stranger to installing hardware, but I'd love to be there for it.

Reminds me of an older episode of Tekzilla; Patrick Norton guided a co-host through the steps of building a PC.
