Hey all, I need a little help with TOB. I have heard it can connect to the same servers as a PC or Xbox 360 is this true and if it is how can you set up a LAN game between a PC and PS3??

No, its not true.... if you want to play with the PC crowd, you'll have to get it on PC.... sorry.

I think XBox and PC are getting a game they can both play together sometime soon. But as far as I know there are no plans for the PS3 as of yet.

When steam is in offline mode it does not even connect to the network, so this is impossible.

I read The Agency is being tested with PC and PS3 together online but that the company plans to segregate them in the final release.

It would be neat to see a scrim between PCers playing on PS3 and then a follow-on with PS3 people playing against the PC guys on the PC. Sort of like Superman versus the Flash, ha ha.

IMHO I think crossplatform PC and Console is a pretty bad idea.
Consoles have always been about everyone having the same thing so you can't just "pimp" out your machine to give yourself an advantage.
And also, in FPSs, PCs have the stronger advantage with a KeyMo setup (Chemo setup xD).
This is more precise, in my opinion.

i agree!! PC will pwn console in heads up play... interface is faster (as fast as u can mouse gesture) console has tracking speed limitations.

and lets not forget the costomization available to pc gamers (HUD mods, scripts, and the like)...

i think the console players would live short frustrating lives, before switching to PC...
