Please, let us be Civilized Again

I have been lurking silently for quite some time during my hiatus, and I will admit I grow tired of what Pyro threads turn into. I have accpeted the fact that I play a class that is hated and looked down upon the most, yet I beseech those to please respect the players that have proven themselves above the common noob. It was my worry from the start when the pyro update came out that this would happen, that people would group those who's played before with the new ones. Because of how I had to purcahse a new copy of TF2, I have no more claim to any experince I had. I have to restart from the begining, and from the time off from not playing TF2, my skill had taken a great toll. It is far from riding a bicycle, I needing to go over basic tatics from fourms and videos find again what I had. I know this is asking for being flamed and trolled, but I just ask those who do, remeber the few pyros that have warrented your resepct.

Class elitism should not be tolerated! End of story.

Meh.  At least you play a class where people don't magically feel they can tell you how to play it, or yell at you to heal them when they let you die over and over without so much as lifting a finger.

Just played a couple rounds right now with Frozen - and he protects his Medic.  Even if I die, I notice, he was trying to get the person off me, and that's all I ask for.  So I gladly heal him and others who do likewise as a priority.

Everybody hates everyone for some reason or another. Accepting that and moving on is all you need to do.

I play pyro because I enjoy playing pyro, whether it might require more or less skill to play than something else is entirely irrelevant to me.  I enjoy the excitement of spotting a gap in the fighting that creates a flanking opportunity, getting behind the opposition and creeping up to backburn the whole lot of them. Whether something like this requires more skill, less skill or merely a different kind of skill than, for example, the twitch aiming skill of another class is irrelevant. It's fun.

Anybody else think this was a thread asking for the civillian heavy back?

I've accept the hate for some time, it's just I found it irritating on how most Pyro threads turn into the same dribble. I guess I worded what I wished wrong. I mean not to sound like I am taking things to seriously, I ment not to. I guess I just let things get to me and assumed a few things.
