Please limit medic and demo to one

It's getting pretty stupid. Most of the time when I join now teams are running 2 demos, 2 medics, 2 pyros, and 2 of the remaining classes. I have nothing against variety and use of the non-comp classes, but when there are two medics and demos it starts to get ridiculous. I'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this. I've only found it a problem in the last couple weeks, but maybe I'm in the minority here.

My problem with this is having a one limit on ANYTHING. I just feel like it's far too limiting. One med/demo gives you essentially six slots of 'comp' classes (scout, solly, med, demo) and if someone is being a useless demo/med you can't got that class and play.
Honestly I think it's fine the way it is.

Yeh I can agree with squigs on that one.

I mean sometimes I jump on and get pretty frustrated because they opposing team has 2 medics and we have 0 or 1 so we're getting rolled or 2 demomen while we have one so its spam city; I try to remember its just a pub (a more comp oriented one at that) but a pub regardless and try to have fun with it.
 If I'm really feeling down then I'll just go play somewhere else and come back after a map rotation or two. And of course you can always be the person to tip the scales in the right direction by going medic for you team.

I dislike the imbalance at times but I don't think the problem is serious enough to warrant an even more limiting class selection.

I wonder if someone could make a mod so that the current players choose what the limitations will be.

The mod would pretty much choose between several "class limit sets", and at the start of the game everyone votes on which set they want.

You could have

1) Standard, no limit.
2) 2 Demo - 2 Medic limit
3) 1 Demo - 1 Medic limit
4) Everyone is Heavy
etc..

That way it isn't an issue unless the people didn't realize what they were voting for during the election, and now are repentant.

Idea 1 and 4 are silly, but the ability for everyone to vote for 1 Demo, 1 Medic or 2 of each would seem like a great idea. It would let majority rule

That sounds pretty good, although making a mod to allow that would be difficult.

If the other team has two medics, your team has none, and you are getting rolled, just go medic and quit being a bitchy cunt.
