I'm not sure what's going on here, so I thought I'd throw it out to the community and see if anyone else has been experiencing this.

First: My two most played classes are pyro and engie.  I hate spies.  I make a point of finding and killing them on every map I play.

With that said, here's the issue:  I watch a spy uncloak right in front of my pyro.  I laugh, light him on fire, and go my merry way.  Next thing I know, I'm being called out for hacking.  This has happened on almost every server I've played since the new update.  When I can get the aggrieved player to calm down and talk to me, they always claim that they still had time left on their cloak.  I've also watched uncloaked, undisguised spies running through my lines who seem really surprised when I see them and light them up.  If this only happened once or twice, I would chalk it up to whiny players who don't want to admit they suck, but it's been going on constantly the last few days.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Ignore them, they are just angry because they got killed.

Not to mention by their counter class... |:

Whatever they say, you're playing Pyro. You don't get to complain.

They probably bumped something, who knows.

That is pretty bizarre, but it could have been a number of things. They somehow got bumped and didn't know it, or there was some graphical glitch (like we haven't seen a ton of those since the recent update).

The common denominator here is the recent Spy changes.

Changes=lots of new players who think they are invincible and have an attitude about it.

I have experienced it from the spies perspective, and at first while I did whine, I realized several things were occurring:

Ammo pickups are showing an increase in cloak, but on occassion it is not actually increasing your cloak.
Your cloak would run out as you picked up the ammo which would replenish it.  When you start to decloak, even if you pick up ammo, you will decloak completely.
Picking up ammo has actually decloaked me on occasion.  I dont know why, but it has.

I have experienced all of these a few times, but none of them I have experienced enough to prove causation for this glitch.  Has anyone else had these happen?

I've been randomly chased while cloaked since the update, yes. (Not because of overheal because I always make sure I'm exactly at <=100% before cloaking.)

Maybe they dont realize theyv'e done something to be discovered and havnt re-disguised. I have also seen spies who are apparently putting on disguises while cloaked kinda shine through the cloak in thier own team's color. In this state they are semi-transparent but still plainly visible. Thats my best guess, as its happened to me plenty of times. Also, when playing pyro, when running around the base for whatever reason i just blow fire everywhere JUST IN CASE theres a spy, since I can usually easily pick up more ammo while at home base. I catch one now and then that way. Lastly: there are plenty of poor sports who seem to believe that they are the absolute best and if they dont win, you are cheating.  Also, metal just disappearing when a cloaked spy picks it up is kinda fishy...

The overheal particle effect stays on for a very, very long time.
