They have tiny little heads, except for Starscream®, who is so ancient he has an aluminum beard.

I LOVE Roger Ebert.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  I can't wait to read this review!  Thank you for the link.  To whomever was worried that they were the only one to hate the first Transformers movie.  You were not.

I also feel compelled to share these gems by my favourite movie critic of all time my fellow Chicagoan Roger Ebert

Seriously, if you are looking for good reads go through Ebert's back catalogue of reviews and enjoy one of America's greatest living treasures.

"The movie has been signed by Michael Bay. This is the same man who directed "The Rock" in 1996. Now he has made "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Faust made a better deal."

LOL!!!!  Excerpt...

"I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it."

Me too. My only expectation for this film is "Be about as decent as the first one."

It's a movie. About giant robots. Based on a 80s cartoon. What are you expecting here?

a pretty lame 80's cartoon at that.

yeah, i said it.  because it's true.  the whole series was a glorified commercial for Hasbro.  now that doesn't mean it wasn't fun to watch, as fighting robots always are, but come on? who seriously expected the movie to be anything more than a glorified commercial for Hasbro (and the Army, and GM, and Xbox and Mountain Dew) with really, really cool-looking giant robots?

I think for a summer blockbuster with a 300 million dollar budget, a ridiculously extensive advertising campaign, and AWESOME FIGHTING SPACE ROBOTS, we have the right to expect a little bit more.

negative. You should ask why 300 million is being spent on a movie with fringe actors and no really big names. CGI doesn't cost THAT MUCH.

I think we need to have The Treasury Sec. investigate.

well i have yet to see the second movie.  i was assuming that it followed the arc of the first movie, as in - 1) awesome fighting space robots  2) megan fox's ass 3) everything else sucks.

i mean, did they not get 1 and 2 right?  this is michael bay - if he can't do mindless cgi action and hot chicks...what does he have left?
