Pyro still to weak

I know in TFC, the pyro isnt a class compared to the others ones, its a fun class, you couldnt be able to be serious danger for other classes, valve fixed this problem in tf2, but... in my opinion its not enough. he became better, really better, but not enough. i think some upgrade on the pyro would help him, more dmg by flamethrower or something ... what ya guys think bout that?
(i played pyro for 35hours and know about the class)

I think either more range or faster movement would be the best solutions.

35 hours eh? try 240 hours.the pyro isn't weak, he is used differently than other classes. He is an ambush class, used to run in, flame people, and get out.

I don't find the pyro to be weak in any means, as I can do very well as a pyro, but hey it's just my opinion, a very in-the-minority opinion.

Yeah I think the pyro is just fine. Maybe he could go for a little more power or soemthing but i could care less if they change him.

You need to change your strat as a pyro. Instead of trying to kill, just try to set people on fire and focus on staying alive after you burn them. The rest will come.

The Pyro is fine, you just cant play him like you play every other class.

When playing Medic I really appreciate the flame'n'run pyros. Helps build ueber a lot faster.

Movement speed IMO. I think it will greatly improve his ambush quality. Perhaps to balance him, we make his right click a sprint, with a longish cooldown. keeps him from always being able ot overtake people. Perhaps even to keep people from spamming this sprint as soon as they spawn you'd have to earn it, either with time or dealing damage.

i agree with you guys for the most, that pyros are pretty much fine.

but what do you guys do about soldiers? i dont play pyro *too* much, but from my experience, bbq-ing him to death just doesnt happen if hes close to full health. ive tried the burn+shotty approach, but a soldier reacts pretty quickly as soon as he sees the flames. burning and running doesnt do much either, since it seems like the soldier's hitpoints gives him plenty of time to find a medic or a nearby health kit.

i havent thought about the axe, but i just dont want be caught holding the axe when all of a sudden i desparately need a flamethrower (ie, another enemy shows up, or he turns around before i get there)

so how do you guys take care of soldiers?
