Question regarding Gmod and TF2

I just brought Gmod from Steam and have to say that it looks pretty fun. Been messing around with the TF2 models and had some ideas for a funny movie to make (its a sekret for now). However, ran into some annoying problems

is there anyway to move around or manipulate Sentry Guns? None of the tools will let me grab onto Sentry Guns, while others dont even acknowledge it's presence (shoot right through it mostly). Most of the other TF2 props - save the dispsensers and teleporters - work, but not these. Is there any particular problem with my version of Gmod? Or is it TF2? Can anyone help with this?

Also, is there anyway to pose the fingers of TF2 models? I want to pose an engineer holding a wrench, but I can only really get it into his hand but never any further. Any help on either of these problems would be appreciated, thanks! :s

yea the fingers you have to do each one on their own with the phygun

and no you cant move bit of the sentry its a single prop if you want to move it you have to move the whole thing...

The fingers, as far as i know, are not supported. the ragdolls do not support finger movement. so i guess you will have to deal with stiff hands.

sam we ist also right about the sentry. the problem is, that you only load the model of it. zero functionality. actually posing a sentry gun is pretty difficult. there is a single spot on the bottom of the model where it can be moved, but that is all

I also dont like, that i cannot apply masks to spies...

Ah, I see. Well that sucks, was hoping that there would be some way to at least MOVE the Sentry Guns as a whole. Meh, guess that wont be happenin' anytime soon. Anyways, thanks - will continue to try my best and learn around the issue. In either case, first ever scene setup in Gmod. Shitty, yes, but a first step nonetheless!

Just one question though - I cant seem to get the face posing to work. I right click on the TF2 ragdoll's faces, but it doesn't open up the relevant menu for posing and stuff. Is the face posing only there in Gmod beta 2007, or is it there in the default one that can be found off steam? :s

As for the face posing. after right clicking you have to press and hold the context menu button... c by default

One small question though - managed to get face posing working just fine and dandy - EXCEPT on the Engineer model. Face Poser refuses to recognize the engineer at all and wont let me change the expression one bit. Any idea why it doesn't work? Do I need Gmod beta 2007? Any help, pls?

You can move fingers... use the finger poser tool I think it's called. And you can move sentry guns, it's weird, i've done it. Sam west, read his question before you answer and don't answer if you don't know the answer, fingers aren't movable with the phys gun, but they are with another tool.
