Questions Regarding the differences of the knife in servers that allow crits and those that don't

Of course the obvious difference is in the animation, but does this animation change some attributes of the knife?  Does the non crit knife give the same range as the crit stab, or is it the same length as it was pre update?  If so can you stab people on the head as you are falling and get a backstab as you could pre update or is it like crit servers where you have to hit the visual back of the model for it to register.

If you could enlighten me on all of the differences (if any) that are present, I would be very appreciative.

Yes, with the non-crit knife, you can stab people while "falling". With the crit knife, you have to land on their head to do a stair/airstab. I like the non-crit knife better because it feels better doing an (st)airstab in motion rather than stopping and landing on their head to do it.

As for range or the lengths of the animations, I think they're the same. You MIGHT be able to quick switch faster with the non-crit knife, not entirely sure.

But as far as I know, the only differences with the two animations is that the non-crit allows you to kill in motion (Falling motion).
