Reality TV just got a bit too real.

I don't know if anyone has ever heard of or seen the show "Megan Wants A Millionaire", but you might as well not bother looking it up on vh1.com or setting your tivo. Not only have they cancelled the show, they have removed all mention of it ever existing. Why? Read the article. Crazy shit.

Wow. I really don't see how it would be that big of a deal to their image. Was he even implicated before they aired him?

All that aside you wouldn't think VH1 a bit morbid and gruesome for showing the rest of the season, every week a new episode of this dude wining and dining a plastic moron barbie and her princess dog knowing that the guy apparently stuffed a woman in a suitcase and hung himself? I mean this dude was like a frontrunner to "win" the opportunity to spend his millions on this bimbo.

I'm not sure of the timeframe here but I'm assuming that after the show filmed he married some gold digger (man was creepy as hell but rich) and murdered her.

Well, there's several reasons why they had to cancel this show:

1) No one wants to admit that their screening department missed the clues about this guy's sociopathic/homicidal tendencies

2) In a perfect world, at least one VH1 executive had enough of his soul remaining that he thought, "Hey, contributing to the fame level of a guy who was evil enough to chop off his wife's fingers and pull out her teeth (but not smart enough to remove the implants, because HELLO? Ever watched CSI? They use implant serial numbers every other week to identify victims) isn't a moral thing to do."

3) Mostly they want to remove the idea that casting shows with these kinds of demented fame whores means you're likely to get the kind of sickos who'd murder their wife and stuff her in a suitcase. And that doesn't work well when you're selling sex, "love" and so forth.

Mostly, I'm waiting for Bret Michaels to snap and commit a triple homicide, while Daisy "Big Fun Bags" De La Hoya is arrested for domestic terrorism.

HEY YOU LEAVE DAISY ALONE!

The real problem is I'd watch both of those and you can be damn sure I'd watch the unaired season of murdering sociopath wooing Megan.

No such thing as 'too real.' This would be a ratings goldmine.

Reality TV = Fail. (no exceptions)
