Reload script for rocket launcher

Hey guys,
I was just wondering who here uses a reload script for their rocket launcher and whether using one would affect shooting in any way (i.e delays, glitching etc). I am thinking about getting a script since i find that i dont reload often enough in battles esp when im mid rocket jump i often forget to reload

For soldiers, no, not a problem. Just type into the console "+reload" to turn the auto reloading on. For other classes...well, it's more complicated.

the simplest way is to type +reload in your console, whenever you're playing soldier.  then type -reload for other classes (though pyro can keep +reload with no problems)

if you want to avoid typing that every time you switch classes go to your tf folder (programfiles\steam\steamapps\user@domain.whatever\teamfortress2\tf) and go into the cfg folder.  Simply open the cfg files with notepad and up +reload for soldier and pyro, and -reload for all the others.

there are all sorts of other handy scripts out there, but it's always good to start easy

I use autoreload for soldier, and personally what I like even more is my right click to bring out the shotgun/switch back to rocket launcher. It's super quick/smooth.

You partially stole my bind. I have that for like all weapons though.
My general bind is right click switches to primary (for medic it would be the healing beam thing) up is for secondary and down is for melee. Even if I have out melee if I press up on the scroll my secondary will still come out. I think it's the best bind.
Autoreload on syringe gun, stickies, pipes, rockets, shotgun, scattergun and machine gun, lol~
And pistol script for scout (need to use it for engy too)

I like mousewheelup for primary and mousewheeldown for secondary.

If you use the autofire pistol script and you have right click to be autofire (like me), remember to bind it back to attack2 when switching to your build menu so you can rotate buildings. I like having +reload on all weapons that can do it, and -reload on all weapons that can't. Just go to the class config for each class and do something like

alias primary "slot1; +reload"
bind "yourkeyhere" primary
alias secondary  "slot2; -reload"
bind "otherkeyhere" secondary

as necessary.

just wondering, if i edit the cfg for soldier to +reload, will it affect the shotgun in anyway?

@buick: can you please teach me how to bind mouse 2 to bring out shotty and bring back rocket launcher if shotty or shovel is out?

The shotgun can be shot at any point during the reload animation, it will just cancel the reload. So no, it won't affect it.
