Everyone so far has done great, but only 8 will advance. The rules will slightly change based on the games from the first round.

The scheduled map is duel_inexistence, which can be downloaded duel_inexistence, there. However, the map may possibly change last minute... it'll be a surprise.

Good luck to all the contenders and come out to watch these matches, they're gonna be good ones.

I can't play duel_inexistence_b3. I get 15-25 fps on it. dx81 with low/med settings.

A little while back me and wonderwall had came up with some ideas for a duel map.

Many of the maps  now a days are just general small maps with some things to jump on etc...

To add more skill, an idea that came up was to add moving platforms on the side walls or maybe in the middle, and a couple health packs on the side wall which require some a slightly skilled rocket jump to obtain.

wonderwall even suggested using a small amount of water on the ground to prevent fall damage, and this way, all the kills come from the actual fighting rather than a random falling death.

This was an idea for a duel map, and I totally see it to be of a more advanced map because as a soldier, there will be more skill involved when fighting in this map since you'll need to perform various jumps on moving targets if you want a height advantage, or jumps along walls to retrieve health.

There's more to playing soldier than just accuracy with a rocket, and I think a map that can show who's the best rounded soldier should be/look similar to this type of map.
