SSBB PUG???!

I have been talking to a few people about the possibility of having some Saturday Super Smash Bros Brawl Pick up games. It would be relatively simple to do but could be done different ways.

Method 1: Setting up the free for all 4 player sets in vent, making sure friend codes have been exchanged and going and playing.

Method 2: Moving Wii console to same area as Comp. Playing 2v2 or team matches that way, with individual channels for each 2 player team (might have problems with this method though)

Any more Ideas? Keep them coming

that sounds like a decent idea, prob is my comp isnt near my wii although i guess i could move it closer and just go between games. i think we could make 2v2 teams, set em up in vent and then just play like best of 3, winner goes on. it sounds fun

I like the idea, would be a lot of fun.  Luckily I do TF2 on a lappy, so it'd be easy to move to my Wii.  We'll definitely have to set us up some tournaments.  And actually, I think it would be good to switch it up between the free for all and 2 v 2.  If we ever do tournaments, we can get a generic double-elimination bracket off the internet that has team numbers and just randomly assign teams and team numbers.  Should be fun, great idea!  Not only will we have the TF2 pugs, but Brawl too?  The weekends just got so much better XD

I personnallly would have trouble going from tv to wii, the TV i have in my den might not support the wii

I'm gonna focus on the transition from Melee mode to Brawl mode before I get in on any tournaments...

Of course, the PUGs most likely wont start for a week or two after its out. Everyone needs time to get acquainted, and I want to unlock all the characters I will need!
