Because he's one of the few (maybe only) characters that have at least a decent match up / advantage over MK. DK is strong, heavy, has some decent priority, and a reach that is deceitful. He's not a bad character.

The only time a tier chart becomes problematic is when people study it and firmly believe that they cannot be beaten by a character lower on the tier list than his character.

It promotes an elitism that should be nowhere near this game which, as compared to most other fighting games, is shallow and meant to be played for fun... While it still has potential to be competitive. The worst thing that comes with tier lists are the jerks who take the game too seriously make stuff like tiers.

I'm not afraid to say it, Yoshi is one of my favorite characters to play as by far.

Never take the chart seriously. Except for ROB, he's a douche big time.

The only one I take seriously is Snake. If you play him well, you can beat anyone, even good MK players. He requires a completely different play style than any other character, and is one of the heaviest hitters. The only trouble with him is being evasive, but snakedashing helps.
