SSBB Tier List!!

Anti-tiers are morons. There's so many dumb discussions over whether low-tiers are viable in tourneys, but even low-tier mains (Edreese comes immediately to mind, as well as Gimpyfish) admit that while you can perfect a low-tier to compete in tourneys, you always need a high/top-tier backup to beat your unwinnable matchups. Any idiot who sticks to the idea that you can go into a Brawl tourney with C. Falcon or a Melee tourney with Mewtwo and get top 8, much less WIN, deserves exactly what's coming to him. Stick to casual play, where tiers mean nothing.

All of my mains and secondaries are no lower than B tier, and there are only a few characters that I think are wrongly placed into the low tiers (Wolf, Luigi) that simply need someone to play them to their true potential and raise them into a higher tier. Other than that, I do mostly agree with the tier lists in terms of how well those characters match up to the rest of the roster of Brawl.

The only way Nintendo could "do a better job" in this regard would be to make every character in the game a clone. I doubt that's what you want.
