Wait, you don't really believe that Sarah is THAT stupid.  The whole thing about Africa and most of the other smears appear to be a hoax (the man who took the credit was a prankster and no one else has come forward).  The news simply ran with it and never bothered to go back and fact check or follow up.  Ten second soundbites don't get brought up again but thy leave their mark.  Yes, she does make mistakes and stick her foot in her mouth.  And as she is watched by the media for any slip, true mistakes come out quick and false ones don't get corrected.

She got a call form a Quebec Radio station and the guy pretended to be Nicolas Sarcozy, the French President, and she bought it 100%.
