I've been playing Scout for over 30 hours now, and I'm hit and miss, depending on my level of frustration, or the level of skill of my opponents.  One thing I'm interested in is improvment.  I play Scout a lot more carefully than I used to; and I tend to stop and listen for sentries now before approaching flag rooms.  I flee from fights a lot sooner too.  Thanks to this "Hit and Run" style of play rather than kamikaze flea style really shined for me last night.

...but something has me curious, what do other Scouts have set for their sensitivity?  I currently have mine set at 3-4.  I'm thinking that's more of a good setting for a Sniper...  anyhoo, thoughts?

Hey Ritz I was also looking the right sensitivity for the scout and I found that around 10 works just right for me. It may seem a little high at first but I got used to it in a couple of matches. Hope this helped

Sensitivity settings that are adjusted using the in-game bar are different for everyone since their mouse is set at varying DPIs. What might be 10 for one person my be the same at 12.5 or 17 for another person.

A relatively low sensitivity is probably more useful for a scout than a high one, most of the time I find myself strafing to put my shot in the correct place as opposed to moving my mouse towards it, I use a high sensitivity to begin with. Having a good combination of strafing and moving the mouse to aim does well for hitting your target.

I like a sort of SNAP style of play, can't really describe it but a sensativity of 6.4 works good for me

4.3 for everything else, windows mouse settings in the middle and i used thrickys mouse guide.

It depends on your mouse. If you're talking vs standard desktop mouse @ windows defaults, I think I'm somewhere around 60? _really_ high...but I've got the OS-level sensitivity settings cranked, I'm using a high-sens mouse (razer diamondback...NOT as good as advertised, honestly I think I did better when I used the Intellimouse but I'm used to this now), and have my sens ingame around...8 I think?

Edit: and no, I don't play Sniper.

I just use 10... for everything I've tried it on different settings for different classes but I've had my mouse like that for so long I can't use it any other way.

I use somewhat high sensitivity and a very light mouse (mine has weights you can change) because I mostly play Soldier, and I've just discovered how awesome Scout is, so I still have it on high sensitivity. I've found that high sensitivity gives me more mobility and makes it easier for me to scan an entire area once entering it very quickly, so I'm practicing with aforementioned high sensitivity, and I'm sure I'll get used to the wrist snap style of play.
