I found that while playing as a scout in 2Fort, there is a specific schedule to have the most scout satisfaction. I recommend having good communication with other members of your team later on, so get friendly with VoiceChat.
PART 1: GETTING A LEAD
This part is pretty much all about heading for the intel and scoring an early point for your team. I suggest that you bring along TWO scouts instead; one can fall back and wait until you return the intel, then instantly take it another time.
1: After picking scout, take the popular scout route; heading for the battlements and double jumping to the roof.
2: DO NOT GO OFF TO THE ENEMY BATTLEMENTS! It may be shorter as a path, but the enemy concentration is way too high and a few seconds in the same room as some pyro will kill you. Once you're on the roof, just drop yourself off to the main entrance, then head to the right, running through the courtyard.
3: The courtyard is very very likely not to be busy, as all the players are getting more offensive positions. Go up the stairs in the courtyard, then head for the hallway staircase leading to the intel.
4: Take whatever path to the intel and run back. The sewers are not suggested; usually an Engie and a demoman are hanging around and building a small base. The main path is currently seeing action as well. Instead, take the roof route and jump to your team's battlements. Watch out for snipers!
PART 2: DOING THE ROUNDS
By now, the other team has smartened up a bit; snipers are more abundant on the roofs, sentries are positioned on hallways to the inteligence, and demomen are placing stickybombs all over the intel, waiting for you to take it like the good little scout you are. Getting the intel is now assigned to the spy or a good offensive class like the pyro, who can easily make their way through enemy defenses. Your new job is taking specific routes to get behind your enemies on the main battlefield and BONKing them to death.
1: Run up to the battlements and survey the area. See anyone hanging around, trying to push to your team's base? If so, then instantly head for the roof and drop off on the other side, then pursue your target with the scattergun and bat (use the bat only if they're weak or the battlefield is barren). They're usually too busy fighting whatever's in front of them to get you while you're behind them.
2: Next, head for the enemy sewers and fish off whatever you can there. Stick to the scattergun until you reach the enemy's sewer room, where you'll switch to your pistol to fight off whatever may be in front of you at long range. Keep moving upstairs and switch to the scattergun again.
3: Now that you're upstairs, you can do a bit of quick reconnaissance (running to the courtyard to check for foes or sentries), although it's not suggested. You should simply run out of the enemy base and back to the battlefield, where all the enemies are hanging around with their backs to you.
4: Rinse and repeat! The enemies usually don't wisen up and start firing back at you, so you can rack up points and clear up the battle area for your teammates to cross. If you have Voicechat, ask constantly for updates on whether or not the path to the intel is clear or not. Usually, spies sap the sentries that are between you and the intel, so if none are, then ask one of your teammates to do just that so you can return with the intel.
