where? i vote for atlanta. it's a good-sized city (so it's gotta have a Lan center SOMEWHERE) lots of cheap public transportation (train ftw!) we have somebody there (apparently the finest in all Georgia
) and it's a major airline hub, so hopefully flights there will be cheap?
when? i'd say summer over winter (winter breaks often leak into christmas breaks) though my schedule is relatively flexible i.e. i could take off a little early, lan, then go home. either way i could probably work it.
how much? i'd like to say $400 max - plane, hotel/place to stay, and lan fees. making a quick check on expedia, i can fly in for around $250-$300 total, including taxes et. al., so i'd be interested in sharing a room w/some peeps to cut down on hotel costs (reasonably you could put 3-4 people in a room, depending on how many fold-out beds they'll give you)
