I was planning to spend a couple hundred dollars on a trip to NC later in the summer for the NAAPD (some of you may know what that is, lol), but the trip this year fell through. I'll have a car in September and it'll be balls easy for me to get to ATL/NC/SC

as long as it's in the states and i have enough advanced notice making it should be very possible. plane tickets look to be a little over 200 for a round trip flight. don't have too much opinion on where it'll be as it's gonna be a schlep regardless.

Charlotte in winter would work best for me, since I'll have my license and some money for myself I just may be able to make that, I think I have family nearby too that I could visit/stay with

Labor Day weekend might be easier to pull off. I have summer classes, and I don't know how well a LAN would fit in with those since I don't know what kind of time gap I am looking at between them, and it would only be around the end of each month. I'd be cool with carpooling if we go to NC as well, it would definitely cut down on the costs. Also, I'll have a job when the school year starts, so I'll have money coming in (and I don't work weekends).

Athens has a night life if all else fails ;D

I think Labor Day weekend would be awesome as far at the time. So lets lock down to that. Gives me enough time to get settled into my new place and such. My humble abode is also available for those that do not mind a small 1rm apartment if we're doing the ATL.
